School Uniform
We are proud of our appearance at St Bartholomew's CE Primary school. Here is how we look our best!
General Appearance
We are very proud of our school and expect all children to show this in their appearance. We expect children to be clean and well-presented every day.
Long hair should be tied back in order to avoid limiting vision and reducing the chances of spreading hair lice.
Please avoid extreme haircuts such as mullets, razor cuts, tram-lines and any form of colouring.
School Uniform: Our children at St Bartholomew’s are proud to wear their school uniform. This is as follows:
Red Sweatshirt/Jumper/Cardigan
White shirt/polo shirt
Grey or black trousers/skirt/pinafore dress (optional red gingham in summer)
Black shoes or black trainers (if trainers are worn they should be plain black with no other colour at all)
Velcro fastening is a good idea for lots of children – and more or less essential for younger children!!
All clothing (including coats) should be named.
You can purchase book bags (£6) pump bags (£5)
PE Clothing
Pupils no longer need a separate PE kit. Instead, on PE days they are expected to come to school wearing their white school polo shirt and red sweatshirt/cardigans
They then wear BLACK jogging bottoms and BLACK trainers
Pupils will be informed at the start of each term when their PE days are and this should also appear on their half-term overview.
Jewelry is not allowed in school - stud earrings can be worn if pupils can remove them independently
Uniform with the school logo on can be purchased from:
Ann’s Schoolwear in Bacup or TopForm in Rochdale.
School jumpers start at £9.50 and white polo shirts are £6.50. PE t-shirts are £6
